- Welcome to our blog! We met at Oklahoma State University in September 2005. We have been together since. I grew up in Small Town, Oklahoma and after graduating from Oklahoma State University spent time in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Michael mostly grew up in Germany and Even Smaller Town, Oklahoma. In August 2008 we moved to Kansas City. I wanted to live in a bigger city and be closer to my extending family, so we moved back to my birth state. Michael was thankfully along for the ride. :) We have two dogs that we love like children... go on weekend adventures as often as possible.
